for christopher dorner, a former lapd police officer accused of shooting a riverside police officer and two other people. marla tellez is following the story from newsroom this morning. >> reporter: 33-year-old christopher dorner has been on a rampage really since sunday night when he shot and killed a former colleague's daughter and her fiance in orange county. this morning he continues to elude thousands of police officers statewide and in nevada as you mentioned. nevada because dorner has a home in las vegas. much of the search this morning continues to focus though on the resort town of big bear where they found dorner's burned out truck yesterday. unfortunately that's all they found. as a result big bear remains on lockdown today. about 80 miles west of big bear is down down l.a. where lapd is headquartered and officials say all 10,000 officers are considered targets of dorner so security has been stepped up. >> harden the target to protect the employees that work in these facilities. we stepped up security and it's very visible. >> reporter: officials say motorcycle officers aren't even all
